Moments with Charity - Timeless love

Timeless love

"A silhouette of a tree stands against the golden glow of a sunset. The bare branches stretch outward, framing the sun as it sets behind a dense line of trees in the background. The dark foreground contrasts with the warm hues of the sky, creating a serene and atmospheric scene."

Timeless love

I beamed as I strolled with casual strides,

Clad in faded denim jeans and matching shoes.

Her hazel-brown eyes met mine,

A dance of joy sparkling in her smile,

And for a fleeting moment, I wondered if I was dreaming.

Sunny rays cascaded down,

Caressing the smooth, olive skin of my love—Charity,

her name as pure as her soul.

Natural in her beauty,

she stood,

A vision in a cream-colored dress,

Her fiery red hair flowing like an untamed flame.

Her voice, soft and silky,

Enchanted me with every word.

She came to make my day,

And we drank deeply from the well of her love,

Even as she was nourished by the feast of my affection.

She was one of a kind—Funny, witty, and delightfully cheeky.

The day unfolded in a tapestry of memories,

As we wandered arm in arm through the park,

Watching swans, ducks, and geese glide across the lake.

The air was crisp, cool, and dry—

A perfect canvas for our shared joy.

I wished St. Valentine’s Day could last forever,

But time, as always, had other plans.

The skyline turned to coppery gold,

Drawing the curtains on the day,

And fading into the sodium-lit glow of the evening

Yet, in my heart, the warmth remains,

A timeless echo of her laughter,

A treasure from a day wrapped in love.
